User Profile

I am a student at the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh. I am majoring in International Studies and History, and have a political science and german minor. Europe is the focus for all that I do (I am slightly obsessed some might say) and I am particularly interested in Germany and Central and Eastern Europe. I spent the summer in Germany and learned some important things in German, like how to buy train tickets, beer, and food. In addition, I learned practical skills, such as the ability to open a bottle of beer with a cigarette lighter. On my next trip to Europe, I hope to spend more time in Germany, and take some time to visit Poland as well. I am a member of the Model UN organization at my school, and spend much of my time involved in it. I got an iPod last summer and listen to it all the time. Politically I stand on the left, and slid over a bit after watching the Motorcycle Diaries - nothing makes me angrier than injustice, repression, anti-intellectualism, and politically motivated religion.
